Tunisian Crochet

I decided to buy an afghan hook and lern more about tunisian crochet in December 2005. When I was seven years  old I lerned easy afghan stitches at school. I can still remember the stitches. I bought a set with two hooks from http://www.solvor.no/index.htm. She is an Norwegian who made a book about tunisian crochet some years ago. The book is  written in Norwegian only. I have a lot of different hooks, but the hooks from Solvor are my favourites.

The first thing I made was a headband.

The next ting I made was a baby carpet.

Then I started to make  a pair of mitten.

One is finished.

Then I made a dishcloth.

I`m member in a Norwegian forum where we have a project together. We are making  a carpet of afghan stitch sampler. We make 4 pices every month from the book (52 Tunisian Crochet Stitches Combine to make an afghan stitch sampler by Dolores Franks). In the end of february 2007 I hope I will have a beautiful carpet.
